With Alexei Yagudin at Skate America 1999
When we arrived in Colorado, the only transportation Mom & I could find was taxicabs in the form of vans. We were hoping
to find more of the sedan-type, as Mom finds in difficult to reach up that high to lift me in, let alone get me down.
Somehow, we managed to get me up and inside, relatively comfortably... but were dreading our arrival.
Once we got there however, Alexei was wating for a cab with Anton Sikharulidze. Our driver said he take them, but it might
be a while before they got me out. Both kindly offered their assistance. Anton holding the wheelchair, while Alexei steadied
Mom as she lifted me, and guided me as I safely landed. They also secured me feet on the foot rests, and buckled my seat belt.
We thanked them and with them well as they got into the cab and were off.
