There's some good news and some bad about The Golden Girls. First the good: Betty White will be returning to The Bold and the Beautiful to resume her recurring role as Stephanie's mother, Ann Douglas. She'll be appearing on a few episodes of B&B,
but it could be extended even longer depending on storyline developments.
Hi everyone!
At a fan lunch a few weeks ago, Chris C came up with a great idea for an email campaign for Rick.
I'm passing it along to all of you to join in on, as it sounds like a lot of fun. Chris also presented Rick with Craig Ferguson's book that day, which he immediately began reading and absolutely loved, so this seems
like a campaign custom made for our Rick. Details directly from Chris are as follows:
This is how I
explained it to the few I e-mailed it to:
I've come up with an e-mail campaign to possibly
get RH on Craig Ferguson's show. Daniel McVicar (BB) has been on numerous times (17, according to his
site) and I'm asking for RH to be able to join McVicar the next time he pops in on Craig.
I told Rick at FCW now that he's a CBS employee again,
I wanted to get him on Craig's show!!
All we have to do is send an e-mail, every day, to CBS, saying:
"Daniel McVicar
Needs a Cohort on His Next Visit With Craig"
Hi Craig. I love the skits with Daniel
McVicar. Do you think you'd consider letting actor Rick Hearst join in on the fun? Rick Hearst
used to be on "The Bold and the Beautiful" (CBS) years ago and has recently returned to show as Whipple "Whip" Jones.
You'd make a lot of soap fans happy!! (And, yes, his character's name is really Whip!
To send, please
log on to: http://www.cbs.com/late_late_show/. Then click"Email Craig. Send every day (or as much as you can), using one of these subject
lines -- you're typing in fields, no room for an actual subject line:
Daniel McVicar Needs a Cohort on His Next Visit With Craig;
or
Daniel McVicar/Rick Hearst -- The Bold and the Beautiful
Campaign (or make up your own if you're familiar with Craig's
show)
So go, join in the fun, and let's get
Rick booked on late night!!
Do you have an idea for what to do
for Rick? Share your ideas! Let's get some fun things started!!
Sarah Brown’s last day playing GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Claudia is Thursday, November 5 —
and her first day playing THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Sandy Sommers is Friday, November 6! A GH rep confirms published
reports that Brown is switching soaps and that ABC allowed the actress an early exit from her contract, which was set to end
on Thursday, January 14. She signed a two-year agreement with B&B; production of the two soaps will overlap for a week
only. “I’m thrilled with the way they’re doing it,” Brown tells the Associated Press of her GH
exit. “It pays off for the audience and in a good way for all of us.” Sandy reportedly will be involved in Nick,
Bridget and Whip’s B&B storylines. Brown's no stranger to CBS, having played AS THE WORLD TURNS' Julia from 2004-05.

for your friends, your family and yes, yourself, during this great time of year! After all, who deserves it more
than the people we love ... and we should include ourselves in that group as well!

DVD, as well as Carolyn's Hennesy's Pandora series of books. All of these will be autographed to you or your loved one,
autographed, then shipped to you in time for the holiday season if orders are received by the end of November. After
that, express shipping can be arranged for a nominal fee. The one exception if the fourth book, "Pandora Gets Heart,"
which isn't ready to ship yet. But we can send a gift card to let the recipient know that it is coming, and it will

Fan club memberships are also a great gifts. If we are unable to get the kit out in time for
the holiday, we will get a gift card out to the recipient to let them know that the membership kit will be on it's way as
soon as we can get the welcome letter and kit photo signed and personalized by the actor of your choice. Everything
that goes out from the fan club, i.e. holiday card, birthday card, welcome materials, are signed by the actor, so it does
sometime take a little longer than we'd like. But a personalized item is worth the wait! And memberships do not
begin until the kit goes out, so no time is lost.

We had a fantastic time at Rick's event on Sunday. It was a celebration of his time on GH, and a look forward as many of us begin to tune
in to B&B to see what's up with Whipple Jones, III ... and the magic that Rick brings to the screen with every performance.
I'm trying to get time with him to do a newsletter, so if you are in his fan club and you've moved within the past year,

You can hear Ric in his own words by clicking on the audio feature at the top of the interview. as well
Well, the day has finally come. Ric Lansing has left the building ... and Port Charles. When Rick joined General
Hospital and created this unbelievable, one of a kind role, many of us met for the very first time and fast
friendships were borne, many incredible fansites/message boards were established ... and two wonderful Emmy's came home
with Rick! It's been a fun,fun ride, but it's also been a bit sad at time ... to think of the things that might have
been, with missed opportunities and amazing story lines that might have been. Regardless, we move on!
Please take a moment to drop by Rick's website at www.RickHearst.com and leave him a message, then get ready to join Rick on The Bold and The Beautiful as Whip Jones
returns to Los Angeles to see what possibilities can stirred up
there! It promises to be a good time.

There are imposters on Twitter purporting themselves to be Natalia Livingston. I was notified of two
and, when I went on to check them out, found a third. Please be aware that Natalia does not have a Twitter account of
any kind, so do not be fooled by any imposters.
It is very, very sad that people try to take on the identities of celebrities that they admire, and find it necessary
to try to impersonate them. We just don't want you to be fooled and pulled into the game.
Well, we've done it ... we have dragged Carolyn kicking and screaming into Twitterland!! Join her now at www.Twitter.com/carolynhennesy and see what she's up to.
With Cougar Town being picked up for a full season, her books continuing
to grow in popularity, and Diane peaking back into Port Charles,
she is one busy lady. Hope you'll come along with us for all of the fun.
!
Great news!
Carolyn has been asked to participate in this year's Hollywood Christmas Paradeon Sunday,
November 29th. This year the parade will also enjoy nationwide coverage on MyNetworkTV on two broadcast dates: December 10 and December 24, 8:00-10:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
Carolyn will either ride on a float or in a convertible, yet to be determined. The parade has been a Hollywood tradition
for over 80 years, and now our girl is going to be a part of that history!
BRANDON BARASH NAMED MDA NATIONAL CELEBRITY AMBASSADOR TUCSON, Ariz., Aug. 25, 2009
Brandon Barash, the popular
actor who plays Johnny Zacchara on ABC’s “General Hospital,”
has been named a Muscular
Dystrophy Association National Celebrity Ambassador.By making public appearances at MDA events, starring in public service announcements and giving news media interviews, Barash will help raise public awareness
of MDA’s battle against muscular
dystrophy, ALS and related diseases. Barash has quietly been raising funds to support MDA scientific research and
services programs by donating all the proceeds from sales of his professional
quality photographs of landscapes and city scenes from around the world.
He was motivated by his close friendship
growing up in southern California with a young man who had Duchenne muscular dystrophy. When his friend
died from effects of the disease, Barash determined he would work in behalf of MDA to help find treatments and a cure for
the disease that usually proves fatal for young men by the time they reach their 20s.
Recently Barash decided to increase
the level of his volunteer support for MDA not only by selling prints of his photos, but also copies of his new book of photography
at General Hospital Fan Club events. He also visited MDA headquarters in
Tucson, Ariz., in July to tape spots for the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, the Telethon National Online Auction, which he will chair, and public service
announcements. He will also appear live on the show, and is keeping his extensive Twitter following constantly updated on
his MDA activities. From Sept. 1 to 15, one of the items on the Telethon online auction will be a visit to the set of General
Hospital, followed by lunch with Barash himself. The auction can be reached at www.mda.org/auctions.
MDA President & CEO Gerald C. Weinberg said the Association is honored to have Barash on its celebrity team.
“Brandon is totally dedicated to helping MDA in its mission,” Weinberg said. “We are delighted that such
a talented young man has joined our team.
MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy,
ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also provides comprehensive
health care and support services, advocacy and education. Source: http://www.mda.org/
